I'd say for an ocean session that 14.5 knot is the lowest you'd want to ride
in. Bay riding maybe a little lower but not much (12knot).
I've found (as a few others have suggested)
you need to add a knot 3" in on the rear lines in order for the 12.5 to perform in lower wind conditions.

Heres an 8.5 layed over a 12.5 Ion 2.
the "Low" bridle attachment is at a different angle and is sewn into the same reinforcement as the "Hi" bridle attachment.

I would want Fleifoil to write something like this. If that happends to your kite we will set you up with a new asap. :bye: I think it should be more like we will get you a kite within a week... We all know what asap could mean here. If you look at it from another view, you might get a 2008 kite as...

I just switched from the Tabu waist harness to the Nitrous board shorts.
I really like these boardshorts! My only complaint is
that the sizes seem to run a little big. If you do go for the Nitrous,
make sure you try them out on the water first to get the right fitting size.

Can you use a regular household sewing macchine (like a Standard Singer Portable) to repair a kite using these threads? You should be able to, but some of these threads require larger needles. A note of caution... (assuming you haven't used a sewing machine) you will need to adjust your machine (bo...

In order to get the paint to stick the surface has to be sanded first. Wet sand the surface w/ 320 grit then paint. Or if you're feeling artistic, try some paint markers then clearcoat over your work with a spray bomb. Krylon works good. Don't lay the first coat on heavy over paint markers or they w...

After reading a few (very few reviews) on the flexis atom/ion I2, I was prepared for the harsh bar grip. I'm an auto mechanic w/man hands, So I'm thinking...It can't be that harsh. First session, 3 hrs. these man hands were shot. I've now had 4 consecutive days w/ 2hr sessions and no complaints/issu...
