Topic: Anyone go from Fusion to Ocean Rodeo Sessions Harness?

I just switched from a fusion to a session. It takes some getting used to, but I like the feel of the higher hook and the extra mobility in my legs. The nice thing about the session is that you can start with the leg straps and then loosen them until you don't need them anymore. Kinda like training ...

Topic: Liquidforce WLF: excellent light wind board? How's 2007?

I ride the WLF as my all purpose board. It is not really a great light wind board as it has WAY too much rocker for that. For light wind I use a SS Glide, which is hard to beat. For a smaller rider it might be ok, but I find that the WLF needs a reasonable amount of power to be fun. Good board in po...

I am actually working on renegotiating my terms of employment to include a "gale clause" in the event of winds forecast to exceed 25 knots. Might as well let me leave anyway, cause if it is blowing that good I'm not getting anything productive done :)

yes!!!! Does it fit any spreaderbar? Does it work?

If it fit my spreader bar I'll get one...

A.
I don't have one, but have seen a few in action. They seem to work.

As I recall they fit all except Dakine spreader bars.

Cheers,
JJ

You should be fine with that gap. I would suggest a bigger flat board (glide, flydoor, or plywood) if you want to get out in 9 knots.

Topic: contra or crossbow without pulley bar?

I rigged my crossbow without the pulleys the other day to see how it worked. It turns fine when sheeted in most of the way, but as soon as you sheet out it gets very sluggish. You will certainly want to lengthen the depower throw so that you can get close to the max depower. Bar pressure is VERY lig...

Anybody else know any other well written how to on kiteloops? I thought this was a pretty good explanation. Be careful and start gently. I tried to learn without knowing the proper technique and blew out my knee on my 3rd attempt. Shouldn't have tried to land it :) http://www.skypilotkiteboarding.c...

I find that the LF pads/straps fit my 14s nicely. Not the cheapest option, but they work well.
