Re: Should I rejig my quiver?!

I've got the 13m and the 9m Rev (I'm 90kg) The 13 is good up to 20 knots and then I feel overpowered and the 9 needs 20 knots to get going. I think you miss the sweet spot kite which for me is 15 to 25 knots bang in the middle of both kites. The previous 3 years I used an 11m for 90% of my kiting. I...

19" at widest point on the 5'-10"

I only know this beacause someone had asked the question on ebay and the seller had responded with this answer.

Re: REV 9m '09 Strange problem

I've just had similar problems with my 08 Rev 9m jellyfishing to the point of the tips nearly touching in really gusty winds It also inverted on the same session. i'm new to the Rev's and had the kite pumped at 6 psi so this was probably a big part of the problem. I didn't realise it need 9 or 10 ps...

totally stable (in very gusty winds too)

What pressure do you pump your kite to ?

I find the 9m the most unstable kite I've ever flown in gusty winds

Re: Not happy with rev 13 m

IMO the Rev has been hyped up out of all proportion. I bought 2 a 13m and 9m I find the 13m is a real handful in anything over 20 knots It's bottom end is really impressive but top end poor. Same for the 9m, gets me going in 18 knots but becomes quite unstable in upper twenties. 10 knots wind range ...

Re: front line attachment point effects

I've played about with this on a few 4 line SLE kites and this is what I found : Moving front line back gives lighter bar pressure, better bottom end, but more unstable top end. Generally kite looses it's good flying / turning characteristics and you lose the direct feeling through the bar. Moving f...

Re: Caution Mayhem 2008 kite setup??????

I tried it on the lighter bar setting (the front bridle can be moved back a couple of inches) but it lost all it's good characteristics and flew like a bit of a dog.
I wish there was more tuning on the kite because after a couple of good sessions my forearms are starting to struggle.

Re: Caution Mayhem 2008 kite setup??????

Yes, it's a great kite
i just wish the bar pressure was slightly lighter
How do the other sizes compare to the 11m for bar pressure
(lighter or heavier) ??
