Re: Penghu's kitesurfing season has just started

Jan and Karen run a kite/windsurf friendly Sunrise B&B just 3 minutes from one of the windiest beach in Asia. Take you smallest kites/sails there and have a blast. Great seafood, too.

Re: Drone for filming Kiting?

DJI seems to be the drone leader and most likely continue to be my brand of choice for drones despite crashing twice already. I lost my first P3s because onshore 30+ gusts blew it into the trees. The second P3s was whipped by my friend's kite. His 6m2 kite canopy became two 3m2 canopies and my drone...

Re: Kiteboarding Asia (Mid October)

In northern Taiwan we don't really have a beginning or end of season because wind blows from various directions 12 months a year, so we kite every week year round. I have some videos and photos posted on my facebook page in case if anyone is interested in knowing more about Taiwan. https://www.faceb...

Re: Kiteboarding Asia (Mid October)

October is not shitty in Taiwan. :nono:

I found myself using 4m and 5m kites most often in October, it's actually one of the best months with wind almost every day. :thumb:

You're welcome, Adolfo. I think you will be quite happy with the Neos, too.

Re: North Neos for hydrofoiling

I replaced my old Neo 9m2 with new Mono 9m2 last year. The Mono allowed me to hydrofoil in even lighter wind than the Neo while also providing good wind range, turning, and drift on waves riding a surf board. With only one strut, the Mono 9m2 fluttered occasionally if the kite was turned too sharply...
