Re: SuperShinn reviews

If you want the best of both then try the Street? I have tried most fo the Shinn Range and owned 2 Monks then a SuperShinn, another Monk and finally I have a Street :thumb: It really is the best of both and offers a good bit of carving with some fantastic pop. From the UK forum (I'm John.B): The Mon...

Re: Happily stuck with my first board... Is it just me?

If I remember rightly tho the 2009 was actually a very good board - it was shaped for best by Joe Castiliua (spelling) and not just a pop out mimick of everything else on the market. This is the trouble with twins no one was being really innovative (apart from a few like the Mako, SU2/Wainmen and so...

We have wind here as well but I'll be booted and suited conducting interviews all afternoon

Let us know how you get on.

Re: Shinn - new board the Street

The street has some pop - cold scottish morning was a bit greyer (blue sky is an after effect) with marginal wind on my 11m Razor. Just about to tuck into an s-bend here and you can see the water displacement from loading the street - you can really push the tail and the EPS tips do their magic to p...

Winter weight is about 79kg and summer weight about 76kg - weather is starting to get nice enough to allow cycle commute to work :thumb:

Re: Shinn - new board the Street

I suppose it depends on where and how you ride, but overall you will not be dissapointed - the SuperShinn is an awesome board with superb pop and landings. Like the other Shinn boards it still rides very evenly with comfort and no splash; however for me during a very windy Scottish Winter maxxed out...

Re: Shinn - new board the Street

I'll be 37 in soon. Kiting 4.5 years - was getting railey to blind and railey to krytp with surface passes at end of summer last year and then it just gets too cold and too windy here. The CC rockered Shinn boards are something pretty special :thumb: S-Bend! https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HRpDKS...

Shinn - new board the Street

I have owned two Mk1 Monks a SuperShinn, a Monk II and I have ridden the Luigi II and the Gintronic. Today tested the 135 Shinn Street against my 132 Monk II so...... The Monk or the Street….. Rode them both back-to-back today on my 9m Airush Razor from barely powered to overpowered and what do I th...

Re: Where in Europe to find the windiest places? Top 15 !

Yep Tiree is windy and kitable in every direction with white sands and crystal waters :thumb: Been out lately? I bet its fooking freezing up there! Do you wear a drysuit? Its cold enough in Cornwall :shake: Tiree is a strange one as due to the weather and the gulfstream it is actually quite warm co...
