Re: sick riding in Portugal

He'll certainly be fairly sick if he ends up splatted against the bridge which seems downwind of him, or the power cables for that matter.

Re: Please Help - eqipment questions especially for heavy ri

Hi Jeko, another biggie here - 245lbs / 115kg. I kite in winds generally 12 -20kts. I have a Best Waroo 13m but this year I bought a 2011 Ozone Zephyr 17m, really great kite, one pump system. I havent used the 13m since as the Zephyr does the job up to 20kts. I highly recommend it. My board is a doo...

Re: Recommended kitesize Ireland?

I'd recommend a 12-14m2 kite to maximise the number of days you get on the water. Very often we get 12-15kts so this size will give you the best chance of getting out in these conditions and should cover you up to 20+ kts.

Re: Mauritius

Was there this time last year for two weeks. Stayed and kited at Le Morne at the south west corner of the island. Lagoon of approx 1km x 1km with max waist deep warm flat water. Most days approx 15-18 knots. Absolutely perfect for beginners or those practicing new moves etc. Also around the corner t...

Re: Where to this summer - not Greece

Off to Greece on Saturday for two weeks of CIVILISED kiting, despite the grief you guys are throwing at each other.

And yes, I will beware of Greeks bearing gifts...... :naughty:

Re: Having a bad day? Watch this!

Has to be one of the coolest vids I've seen. The best thing is you can see what he is doing, compared to those ''handlepass double reverse twitchy with triple toe-loop cream on the side'' moves. That's because you're not legit enough  No doubt you mean I cannot decipher the moves - and youre r...

Corsica

Hi,

does anyone know what kiting conditions are like on the east coast of Corsica in June?. We will be at Mark Warner San Lucianu which is near Moriani and Padulella, and hope to be able to kite on the stretch of beach beside our club.

Thanks in advance.

Sardinia

Looking at family holiday at Mark Warner on the East Coast of Sardinia in June. A couple of us would be kiting and will probably bring our own gear.

Can anyone tell me what the wind direction and strength is like around foddini or perdepera beaches? Is it deep or shallow?

Thanks

Re: North Centreline length

Thanks RDM.

Does anyone know what the specific lengths of the three component sections of this centreline should be, and also the length of the leader-line from the kite?
