Could somebody (maybe Marina from Kitexcite?) please recommend some cheap accomodation for a single person on the Cabarete for 2.5 months, mid June to the end of August?

I'm looking for something like US10 - 15 per night, or ideally a flat for like US300/month.

Somewhere not far from the kite beach.

I've picked some offers on activecabarete.com, but don't know how good are they.

If somebody could give names and contact details of hotels/apartments, that should be great, because I'm looking to book in advance for at least 1 week.

Kite Beach Hotel is located in the center of Kite Beach.
It offers good monthly deals.
The monthly rate in june is 400 $ which is aound 13 $ a night.
In july it is more expensive as the high season starts (550 $).
If you share a room with somebody you just pay half of the price.
The breakfast , kitestorage, high speed internet, showers on the beach , cleaning facilities for the gear are free of extra charge.
There is an own kiteschool located at the hotel for lessons, rental and kite repair.

Best thing to do is to come to Cabarete and book something for one week. Then look around for people looking for roommates, cheap accommodations, etc. Monthly rent typically ranges from $200US (very simple, just a room or "dominican" style) and up, depending on location (between Kite beach and Cabarete, on the beach, closer to town, etc.), level of comfort desired, etc. Besides KB Hotel, you might also want to consider staying at Surf Camp. Rates are $15/night including breakfast and dinner.
