Hello.

Anyone tried the switcher 160 from wipika. I'm wondering how it is compared to the 175.

I saw it standing in a shop. The 160 seems rather thick. So I think you can use it if you have 1 board. If you want to use it as a high wind board, than it's better to buy a smaller/thinner board, like a wakeboard or a Brunotti Hellfire 155 (also very thin).

I'm looking for a second board (high wind) because my girlfriend is starting to use my Olry175. I would like to use a kite one size bigger always, so I'll need a very good edging small board. Switcher 160 is not an option.

As an allround board I like the Starboard Switch 156. Quite a lot of volume and with a good edge. I think the construction is very nice and strong. So if you are looking for 1 allround board, consider this one. Disadvantage is the weight of 3,5 kg.

forgot to mention the steprail. The rail is sharper (less round) than the wipika which makes it easier to hold edge. Like the newer design of the wipika eclips (think starboard switch has a better construction).

So....
