yesterday i tried a LF rythm 147 (modified to 6 fins) and i was impressed.
did anyone try other boards ?
i'm curious if all models work with a kite ...
i'm rocking the hyperlite vero 143 with a 4 fin setup. so far it has worked pretty good. i think it will get better as i get better. i am using older low end wakeboard bindings for it that look surprisingly similar to the new style of sandle bindings.

...interesting ...
i only heard that wakeboards don't run upwind because they got too much rocker - or too round shaped rockerlines...
i thought about buying the LF myself, but now i'm curious if smaller boards work as well (the rythm 147 is specified as an allround - board for tall and heavy riders - but i'm not too heavy and would like to use a smaller board, i think...)
yea, that is what the vero is specified as too, just an all around board. i had problems staying upwind one day, but i am pretty sure it was me, and not the board. hopefully it will improve though.

Hi everyone, I tested a old OBrien wake 143 with 2 fins for a friend who couldn't go upwind yet and was wondering if it was his board or his technique. I was amazed how easy it was to go upwind with the standard 143 wake (I use a 175 TT Olry normally). He had too much pressure on his front feet and not enough on his heel. Now he's going upwind much better already. So I think there's no problem in riding a wake-wake instead of a kite-wake.
