hi,
a friend of mine bought the bt12 & 17. after using it for 4-5 times the kites (both) got abrasions where the leading edge meets the carbon tips on the edges. it looks like there is a terrible friction that could get the le to tear and blow up finally...
does anyone encounter that problem ? check your kites ?
doesn't cabrinha know about it ? i'll mail them now....

its not a problem if they are 2003 kites. i have used mine lots more than that, and we have had guys using them every day here since the kites were released. no blow outs. some scratching but no "terrible friction". the 2002 kites had a problem there with extreme use and they have changed the design. eli
