I am headed to Maui next week. The forecast is for diminished trades. I have been to Maui in July and August several times and never pulled out a bigger kite than a 9m. Does diminished trades typically mean a 12m kite or something larger? I am an advanced kiter and I weigh 180 LBS.

Hey, I know a lot of maui riders don't bother to ride if the wind is less than 15 knots, but I like lightwind kiting just fine. Planning on bringing a 7, 9, 11. Should I pack something bigger just in case? I could pack a 16 as well, but don't want to bring it if I don't need to.
