A couple of X2-kiters allready experience colour degradition=colour getting lighter.

Also X2's that are steering more to one side as the other so not in balance. Must be warranty.

First thing can be avoided by taking a colour like grey and not yellow.

I read that post, too. Question is whether the trim of the lines is 100% right.
Could be slightly wrongly set-up bar.

And perhaps the colours are only on a few X2's.

But if I would get an X2, I would want to know for sure.

saw my first X2 today looked like a nice kite. it was also pulling to one side. the guy may have had his lines slightly out. through he had just swapped bar and lines over from another kite?

another thing i noticed is that on the leading edge naish are still using a raised non reinforced? stiching under the kite canopy. dont think this will be an issue as I havent seen canopy wear over a raised stich yet. But other kite manufactures are using flat stiching under the canopy. good marketing perhaps.

I will have to try and do a swap one session so i can compare it to the RRD.

I still have to say that I would take the thing with "fading colours" only serieus in such a way that we need more kiters than a couple to really know for sure that there IS an issue.

Sometimes the internet generates more rumours than facts. And the forum I read the "issue" has sometimes more the level of a child than of an adult, if you know what I mean.

To show my point: at another forum (kitesurfing-kiel.de) there is someone that states that there are 2 versies of the 2002 Airblast. Thing is that he made that mistake by comparing the 8.4 and 11.8 airblast. I checked with Wipika and there no such thing as 2 versions. Only at the very beginning there was an mylar version and later it's all dacron.

For now if I would get an X2, I would just choose a neutral colour like grey.
Never know if it's true anyway
