Hi Gomogli,

I was at South Beach alone.
No friends with me.
I met some guys there.
One's guy kite stalled and I saw it comming and was running like hell to avoid any injuries and catched the kite.
I HELPED !!! and I never knew this person before, just met him there!!!
So, you saw it, and why didn't you help?

Never write when you assume, only when you know.

But generally speaking you are right. And this is the least packed area of Sout Beach and kiting is accepted there (how long?).

I guess I mixed up who was kiting and who was launching - sorry.
But I think my post was on target because
-they were your kites
-you were launching your friend
-and mostly because a friend of mine asked you to launch/land
from the beach and you ignored her. She said you launched and
landed twice more.

Im sure you guys could handle the dicey launch - but what concerns
us is if a new kiter see you and decides thats the place to launch.
Alot of bicyclers use the path and hooking one of them could cause
lots of problems. Thanks for your understanding.

I think every site has "issues" you gotta be careful with. At Pismo, Kinlsey's trying to get people not to disturb nesting birds, if somebody kited around the nests, that's comparable.
