I frequent few of the local Yahoo groups forums and I find this forum sooo much easier to navigate, and there are none of those sleazy webcam ads, I think the way the threads jump back to the top is brilliant, and frankly it's nice to be able to post anonymously, sometimes. Unlike yahoo, the site is super fast, and it's cool how world wide it is. I've learned a lot here, Thanks Toby,
Lane
oh yeah - love the color scheme

The important issue for ME in regards to the forum color is that the black backround stands out too much while I'm reading the forum here at work!!!!

A white backround would make it look like I was actually m a y b e doing some work, not goofing off.

Thus, my vote (for what it's worth) is for a white backround.

Other than that, thank you very much Toby for putting together such a great forum and for sharing your gear research with the rest of us.

You see Toby, there are actually GOOD reasons for giving a choice. And everybody who wants can keep it black.
THanks for taking the time to look at it!!

you sholl look into using slash to run the forum, or scoop.

both are customizable, and offer much more than phpbb as far as functionality.

take a look, http://www.slashcode.com

would be tight
