Do you mean 90cm wide or 90cm long? At 49 kilos and with a 90cm wide board you won't need much wind to get going.

please god!
and I thought my english was aweful.
sorry

well, Pablo, as long as we can understand what someone is looking for, it doesn't matter how bad someones's English is.
Not everyone in the world was/is happy to get a good education and learn proper English. So be happy about it!
We understood her question, that's what matters!
Kafel, I think 90cm is very short and if this will be your only board, then you don't have fun in all conditions like waves. And in lighter winds you can't start that early, but maybe with your weight it doesn't matter that much.

kafel,
I am 60 kilos and ride 120 in 20 plus knots. the 90 is too small even for you. you need at least a 136 ish board.
go narrow if you want high wind. 37 cm is good.

I didnt mean to insult her or something like that.
I just read the message and i tought it was kinda funny.
btw.
there's something I dont understand.
when the wind is light, you need a wide board.
in these circumstances you're not supposed to edge hard, almost the whole area of the board will be 'touching' the water.
but when it is strong, and it is necessary to edge really hard, only a small part of the board will be in contact with the water (lets say the board is in 45 degrees), so, what's the difference between having 36 or 41 cm? after all these cm's wont be touching the water anyway
