didn't have much trouble with over flight, but bladders WERE a problem until solved and the bar had to be bigger. I never adjusted the design to make it faster and should have. The 12.2 2001 kites were pretty slow, and needed to be adjusted. Used the new 2002 BT 12.2 with a small bar and it turned like a dream and had sloid and stable power. You can't find a better kite than the new 12.2 IMO. The North 16 was similar but still not as stable through the range.
