I am using a prolimit hook with quick release for months already, and never had any unwanted openings. Maybe the "jacket" is worn out?

I used almost the same setup, but wanted to keep my shackle away from the sand, and I did not want to lose any tooth... So I came up with this. This is strongly influenced by the S2 system. Check it out...
