i don't know how to post it as a link to click. You can go to then website under lifelines and find the pelican hook. i don't know why this would not work. At $15 is much cheaper than a snapshackle.

This could poss work also.. But I wonder if the slide type ring that releases it would be hard to slide.. Because if you atatched a small rope to a handle it would only pull on one side.. I think would need equal preasure on bothe sides of the ring to get it to slide and release... click this to see the pelican hook..
