Hi in Holland almost all beaches are good. Some are even better

Ones that come to my mind :

1. Hoek van Holland
2. Scheveningen (not for beginners I believe)
3. Katwijk aan zee
4. Noordwijk aan zee
5. Zandvoort
6. IJmuiden (my home spot, great with NW-NE wind, and with SSE-SW)
7. Wijk aan Zee (my second home spot, great with SW-NW wind)
8. Callantsoog

number 6 & 7 are near a peer (don't know the right word), and therefore there is not much current, and great waves.

Dude!

Welcome to Holland...OK I will devide it in three parts. Wind direction, sea and flat water there we go:

Sea

Zw- Along the whole Dutch coast really nice spots
Zw- Wijk aan zee
Zw- Brouwersdam (Grevelingen)
NW- Ijmuiden
ZW- Bergen aan Zee

Flat Water

ZW- Schellinkhout
E/ZE- Enkhuizen droomstrand
NW/NE- Muiderberg
W- Mirns
W/ NW Strand Horst/ Harderwijk

So far, there are many more spots but this will give you a good view of what is possible in Holland

Mahalo!

Yesterday I have been kiting in IJmuiden with NW 7-8 Bft. Waves were up to 6/7 meters !!! I have never been so scared, and psyched up  I surfed for about 3 hours, and woke up this morning 4 hours later than normal. I guess the adrenalin makes that you don't feel tired

Well, with South-West winds go to the north of the canal (Wijk aan Zee) that's the place to be with SW-winds (like now, 8 Bft !!!)
