Tja- es ist soweit...

Neusiedel als Kitespot ist so gut wie tot- das Plateu mit der Betonmole wird mit irgendwas bebaut- und um die Mole, von der als einziger Platz in Neusiedel sicheres starten möglich war ist nun umzäunt--

starten ist nun nur mehr direkt neben den Bäumen (das heisst bei SO 2m sicherheitsabstand) möglich- kitestall ist mit ab in die Bäume gleichzusetzten..

Landen ist nun ebenfalls nicht mehr gefahrlos möglich...

wenn wer jemanden bei der Gemeinde Neusiedel kennen sollte, bitte hier posten!!

A fence has been installed at the only place where kites could be launched/ landed safely in Neusiedel...

so lake neusiedel has only one spot with one working wind direction where safe- kitesurfing is possible...

too bad..

If you should be looking for a new spot, you will be most wellcome on Lake Balaton. I know, it's probably a little more far away. If you should decide to come here, here are the places to go:
If wind comes from the south or south-east, you should go to Kenese on the north shore. However, these winds are mostly very gusty and not stable.
If winds blow from the SW,W,NW,N, you should come to Szabadi-furdo, Sosto. These are 2-3 km to the east of Siofok. These are the only hungarian kite-beaches. It is also a little bit dangerous due to trees and rocks on the shore, but local kiters will be very helpful.
