Hello kiters,
for the guys that are lucky to kite in very good spot like Maui or Cabarete etc.
Did you see any new proto kite 2003, they should start to be seen around for testing.
It will be interesting to know your observation about waht the future will bring to us. Every body speak about the X2 Naish, but it was the last release of kite in this season and I'm sure that all the other brand are not sleeping!!! SO keep your eyes open and let the gossip spreading.
Bye Jankie

Rhino II Prototypes are currently tested.

Available September/October.

Too late for Europe's season...

September and October are great month for kiting in Europe - more wind, empty beaches, water still warm (still need thick wetsuit!)

Then you use the kite for one month or two and then it is freezing cold. Every real boarder is getting on snowboards then and tubes suck on snow... then you loose money when your second hand kite is old the next season...

tubes don't suck on snow. I have never used arcs on the snow, but I like the fact that I can depower my tubekites on the snow.

but I guess when you crash it the tube will have a problem, doesn't it?

I guess you never tried Flysurfers on snow.

When someone is snowkiting with a big grin in his face and your tube stays leading edge down forever (except with rare relaunch bridles) it could be me

The depower effect with the Warriors is as good as a tube kite. I won't use tubes on snow, because they are fragile already on kitesurfing use.

Further advantage: Launch the Warrior, drop the bar and step without any effort into the snowboard binding. Grab the bar and relaunch the kite.

(I would help you to relaunch your tube of course)

Winterkiting in Europe?
Well, it can be fun, even at 0Celsius.
But use fine neoprene if you dont want to wake up from fridge in March...
