I think it is called JoJo kites. Not too long ago there was a link with an artist impression of this double surface kite.

No I think this is not like that. The front strut is like going all the way to the tips and is connected with straps to two foils going to the back. So the connection to the foil is half open and there kindof two kites in one. The kite looked very small but the man was going like hell and jumping very long and high allready in less than 15 knots wind. When wind was getting more strong in afternoon maybe 25-28 knots the man was still out on water. I have to change to smaller kite much more early.

There is another kite brand out there who are in the process of designing a double skinned inflatable.
...can't find the name anymore. I think it was something like UP kites or so?

Hi,
the German producer making both windsurfing sails and kites and trying to bypass the patent must by "Gun Sails". Their kiterange is named "powerkite" or something.

I never tried one of the Strongkite s from Gunsails, but heard very bad things about it: bad quality, bad characteristics. Better buy a used kite!

2003 Rhino prototypes are higher aspect ratio and the 12 and 16 have 7 struts.
