try this suggestion that trust me works
when you get your new kite invest in a large drum that will hold enough water to submerge your deflated kite then leave it in the water for 24 hrs or longer if poss also if poss try to keep a stream of fresh water running into the drum (may make your water bill expensive but hey whats that compaired to the price of a new kite eh!!!) make sure all the bladder valves are closed though this idea was given to me by a sponsored skiff sailer who has logos on his sails and it works for him
cheers
