Cape town is great. Winter time, best month is feb.
Check out http://www.kitesurf.co.za

Basically the areas around cape town is popular, but you can go lots of other places too on the west and east coast

Wind is pretty strong usually. Often in the 20s to 30s. Can be above that, too.
Sometimes, even too much for a 6.3 Airblast. I rode the 8.4 a lot there.

how about the water temperature in °C (in November); can you stay on the water for the whole day or not?

Water is pretty cold, 13-15. Outside hot. Long suit 5/3 mm is good. Watch out for the sun, it burns like hell (and you don't feel it so much in the wind and cold water).
Wind mostly sideshore from the left (SE), waves between 1m and 60 (rare). Most often say 2m. Tend to flatten off after a few days of wind. Bad weather wind is from NW, then side shore from the left. Rare in the summer.

Good scene down there, beach is big.
I am considering getting sun glasses for that spot, though, since you look into the sunset in the evenings.

Cheers
Nico

The windy season starts in November to March make sure you have a small Kite along.
Make sure lots of Sun block. It also has got and excellent party scene. Lange Baan is about an hour of driving up the cost if you like flat water. You need a car.

One of the best spots to Kitesurf in South Afica is Durban on the East Coast of South Afica - Durban has warm water all year round and you don't really need a wettie in winter. The wind starts blowing around now and lasts through till at least February - the wind probably averages around 15 - 20 knots a day - so perfect for kiting.

Durban also has shark netted beaches so peace of mind and also the added bonus of good surf.

What more do you want - for more info have a look at http://www.ocean2air.co.za ...

Rock on
