They ride nothing like anything you've ridden before. They rule in rough water or the waves. You kind of feel silly for having wasted so much time on boards that stink by comparision in waves. Then you wonder why so many other board builders continue to build boards that stink in the waves. I guess they haven't ridden one either.

Actually, I'm kind of looking for a second board, since my light wind board is really difficult to ride once it becomes too choppy.
Now, I just organized a test board for the coming weekend....

Dwight, you are a man in the know. What have you heard about Sean Ordonez's boards if anything?

You're the second person to ask me in the last hour. It was news to me. I'd send Quattro an e-mail and ask. I'm too happy with my wave trays to persue it.

i just tried one of Andre's underground boards and liked them, but didn't like the super hard kick in the ends too much. didn't feel it helped more than it hurt. he thinks they are the best at the moment too.

The Sean O. boards my friend saw at the Gorge were made by drops. It's the Slash Pro model.

To me the flip transforms the kiteboard from a slalom board feel to a wave board feel. A slalom board doesn't shoot up a wave face very well. The straight rocker almost brakes the board's speed. A wave board accelerates when ridden into a wave a full speed and redirects all the energy upwards. It's the same feel to me with the WT vs. a straight tail. You have to admit is super easy to get out through the surf with it.
