One input, if you can pass it on to any line maker. Make different coloured lines like Naish does(e.g. back left red, back right blue (no red / green color disorder problems), front lines whatever). It has two distinct advantages
1. Much better safety w.r.t. attaching the correctly (and it does happen that they are attached in the wrong way...)
2. Much easier untangling if ever you have to
