well, i havent't testet the hydro or ab (2002)...
but i'm shure that the airblast has more power in light winds.
the impressions i heard about these two kites where:
airblast:
water-relaunch is impossible (10m airblast), but the best kite the rider's ever had.
incredible jump-height and hangtimes.
hydro:
water relaunch goes by itself - absolutely no problem to get it out of the water - a real good handling - but a bit less performance than the ab.
