I agree that monster kites only add few knots to what a 16m can do. A good light wind, specific board, can do almost as much for less money. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s also quicker to change boards when the wind dies, than to pump up a monster kite. I consider a monster kite a luxury purchase. Get a good light wind board first and a monster kite later.

I also think that, if you already have a 16m, a monster kite is a luxury. But if you don't have it already I think is better to buy a new, quick 18-20m than a 16m.

Depends extremely on your weight. I think your right for riders >80kg.

I have the 10 and 14 X2.
Has anybody the windrange of the 18 and 20 X2, I search a kite from 8 ktn (with a 160er light-wind twintip) to 18 ktn (with a little wake), what would you buy?

Hi, most people are saying that the perfect set is 10-14-20 for Heavy weights (we!). So, go with the 20 that seems to produce a lot of fun.

Does anyone know the range of the 18m X2 for a 70-75 kg rider? 15 knots? with what board?

The X2 20's windrange is 8 to 16 knots, using two boards. A board with 43cm width from 8 to 12 and 37cm width from 12 to 16 knots. My weight is 84 kg.
