I agree that monster kites only add few knots to what a 16m can do. A good light wind, specific board, can do almost as much for less money. It’s also quicker to change boards when the wind dies, than to pump up a monster kite. I consider a monster kite a luxury purchase. Get a good light wind board first and a monster kite later.
