All of the pros are proper kiters who do this regular -most of the people on this forum do the same (real kiters) - they do not go round quoting everyone else they ADD a bit - i wonder how much kiting you actally do - as i said the reason i look at this forum is to get views and comment of guys who actualy do it - ps thank for the info on how to use the seach

isn't it always funny how different the material will be judged.
From "the best" to "crap" about the same kite?
Good to have so many different opinions, that's why it is so important to test stuff to judge a kite or board if it suits you or not, since everyone has different requirements, style and features.

Magazines and there tests can be a big help, but the best is to get information over the net or even at your local kitebeach. And then test whatever is interesting, if you can and you find your kite and board with which you will have a lot of fun.
And that's what it is all about:
FUN !!!

Go for it!

Spent last weekend kiting in stuff most people would avoid. I do plenty of kiting. I just don't appreciate a newbie coming out juding who he thinks the real kiters are. We're all on this forum because we have an interest in the sport.

please focus on the topic again.

Thx and enjoy the sport.

Fog/Mist. Probably the norm for UK kiting, but not where I come from.

Ah, and annonymous, I was out kiting that day, even with gusty 6-15 knot winds that were blowing and the freezing conditions to answer your question.

...but yeah, I'm also a chatterbox

In all honesty, if I was in sweden, I'd probably be a poser. I'm used to 30 degree celcius temperatures and 24 degree celcius water and even with kiting inland where the water drops to only 8 degree's, I start battling. What can I say, I'm a scrawny bastard with not much meat on me. In the temperatures you kiteboard in, I'd rather be at home making sure all the girlfriends are alright. he he
