1.Kiteboarding Signals _short_ 8-25-02.pdf
Many comments indicated that too many signals wouldn't help. For starters, I agree. So this set of only FOUR signals has been presented.
Of more critical importance is the signal exchange for a typical assisted launch and landing that are also presented in this file. It is not so much the point that you may have a few signals in Ft. Lauderdale, Fiji, Leucate and in Durban. It would be good to have the SAME few commonly recognized symbols everywhere, eventually. So check them out and use them. The exchange of standard signals establishes that everyone is both ready and knows how to take the next step. Someday, it could make an important difference for you or someone you know.

2. Complete Set of Kiteboarding Signals 8-20-02.pdf
This file presents all the previous signals including whistle signals. I hope to add a few more to this list shortly, based upon an excellent suggestion of Martin Kirk involving signals that they commonly use in teaching kiteboarding. This list is likely to evolve into the future. As the sport grows this list may also gain more extensive use and recognition.
