Heaps of spots in Auckland.....
Orewa, Eastern Beach in summer. North Piha get's great westerlies in Winter (over 20 knots) plus house high surf on occasions.
Shakespear bay get's great southerlies.... cloudless skies, real cold and a constant 20 knots.... deserted too in winter... can let go of kite....
Glendowie sandspit also kicks ass in southerly. Billiard table water, constant 30 knots on occasions.
I could go on....

....... and I assume the water's warm as well....
Water's cold here now, about 15 degrees celcius... bring on the 4/3 wetsuit....
A friend of mine went to New Celedonia last year and loved it... heaps of sun, warm water, 30 degrees, one day had constant (no variation whatsoever) 15 knots.
Go the trade winds....
Hope you're enjoying it over there in the Carribean...
aklbob loved it in Raro Tonga a couple of months ago.... great kiting, warm water, 26 degrees, heck he even tagged a coconut tree with his 11.8 Airblast..... but I'll let HIM tell you all about that.....

cheers for spilling all our secret spots Blownaway, I thought you didn't like crowds?! If you've kited at Orewa in summer you should know how quickly a huge beach is filled up with 20+ kiters!! Although Orewa is almost the centre of kiteboarding in Auckland, so it can be excused for being busy...

Doesn't worry me Tim as I kite during the week when everyone is at work....
Orewa kicks ass during the summer with it's 20 knot sea breezes... more than Eastern Beach get's.....
Those spots aren't "secret" anymore anyway.

As long as you get to kite in peace
or maybe you just want a few helpers nearby to catch your runaways during the week

Dunedin, it's been to windy to kitesurf lately, 50 knots plus for ages
Some people reckon it's too cold, but i reckon it's just cold enought to keep away the crowds. 3 mm short wetsuit in summer, 2 three mm wetsuits in the winter.
and we've got a website
http://kickass.at/dk
with pix and everything
