Hi guys,
Just a quick question. Does anyone know if there were different batches made of the ARX for 2001 and 2002 (pre-X2 release). I seem to remember people talking about an updated version (maybe to combat the de-lamination) but I cannot remember.
If so, is there any obvious way of telling whether you have an earlier or later version?

The later ones had "X" pattern in the weave of the leading edge material. The early ones has a stripe pattern.

That's great, thanks mate.
What was meant to have been done to the later ones?

Didn't the earlier ones have the same aspect ratio for all their kites (5.1 or 5.2) and the later ones have the different aspect ratios like the Airblasts...

Hi,
There was at least 3 in-line design changes on the ARX, one change was that the leading edge got narrower and the kites turned faster. Then there was the material changes relating to the mylar problem. The latest one does not have the mylar lamination on the outside at all and some even came with Polyfuse that was developed for the Aero.
Throughout last year you can also find small changes in the velcro attachment for the valve caps etc.
Thanks,
Bengan
