The Kiteboarder Rescue document has been finalized for now. Special thanks to Traig, Mel and others for their input. If there are new developments it will be updated. All kiteboarders would do well do read this and to share it with their local beach patrol, park rangers, etc. Needless rescues will only aggravate access issues and kiteboarders for that matter. Proper technique in kiteboarder and runaway kite rescues is critical to insure safety and efficient handling of the situation. Some ideas and suggestions on these subjects are presented in the document titled:
