Wind Consistancy is a relative measurement, not an absolute one.

Think of it as a ratio of max to min wind.

20 - 30 knots is the same consistancy as 10 - 15... well within the range of a good inflatable kite...

A range of 5 - 10 knots is the same consistancy as 50 - 100 knots.

Just some good breakfast for your brain....

If a kite has a kitesurfing wind range of 3 - 15 knots it's one VERY VERY VERY good kite in derms of depower....

RUST IN PEACE

gusty wind is like a lottery! it's fun when you win and don't have to hold an edge for that gust that boosts you in to the stratosphere!!
