if you don't have more winds than 15 knts you don't need anything else with your weight.
But maybe one day you want to travel, then a 12 will be a good choice for you as well.

I had 20 16 12 but i sold the 16 and 12.
Now i have 20 14 10. I think this is a perfect 3 kite setup. Im 85 kg and use a small mutant board. The main reason for the switching was that the 16 and 20 was too close in range.

Its probably hard to get an unbiased opinion regardless of the topic. However, are some kite makes better in the smaller sizes and others better in the large, or is it a case of if I like the X2 generally I would add kites from the same range.
I'm sure over time my own experience will give me the answers but any comments are appreciated.

Anyone else out there that thinks the overlap between the 12x2 and the 16x2 is too great and would rather have a 18x2?
