Hi folks,
yesterday, I had the chance to ride with my new KPS bar (60cm) on a X2 20.
I really like it! The Bar is extremely well made. All the lines are of a nice quality (may be waxed or something) and pretty thick, which I like. The connections for the frontlines are well made, you can change to length of the depower, and the bar itself seems very solid.
Upon rotations, the untangling mechanism worked perfectly for me.
There are two things I would like to improve on the bar:
A slightly thicker diameter - most people will like it as it is, but I have large hands and prefer thicker bars
Bigger "horns" on the bar ends, preferrably rubber coated to avoid injury. The bigger horns would make rolling-up of lines even easier (its ok now) and would make the difference between min and max power bigger.
The Wichard was connected and little details (like the tubing over the end of the depower lines at the shackle end) are very well done.
As to the depower, I went out fully depowered and then pulled it in, no real prob. Will have to use it a few more times to see how quickly I can power up. Depowering will be no prob, though.
