3 speed settings and 2 power settings...

looks impressive.. A lower aspect version of the X2 so it should be real stable.

the smaller sizes should very useful indeed as the X2 8M is too fast but the AERO 2002 was too slow & of a past generation when compared tot the X2. I guess it hasn't been tested by anyone yet?

The 8m is the size I'll be looking to get as well. I allready have the 12m X2 and plan on getting a 16m X2 but for supercharged conditions are after something a bit more docile....

The turning speed of the Aero II is VERY fast... The 10 turn faster than the X2 10 believe it or not. For gusty conditions or for small TT or wake (hard edgeing boards) I feel it's a better kite than the X2 since it's sitting a bit deeper in the zone. Jumping performance is excellent and thanks to turning speed it gives you lots off pop. Hangtime might not be as good as X2 but marginal.

All in all, an excellent kite with all of the features from the X2, struts, elbow etc.

Thx,

Sean

Why is the AERO 2003 faster than the X2? I thought the Aero was designed to be more user friendly, shouldn't it be slower then? If it's faster then in that case I'll probably stick with my 8m X2.

And Blown away, if you have a 12 you might wanna skip the 16 and go directly for the 18 or even the 20m. I believe the the difference in windrange between the 16 & the 12 is too small. Also maybe check out the X10 18m.

I'm not getting the X2 16m Anymore... As for the X10 I've actually gone the other way and got a 20m AERO.

It's the 2002 AERO but it's still not that slow... not as slow as what I expected. Low end is brilliant so kite doesn't need to be moved.. stable for tricks etc...

I think the 2003 20m AERO will be THE way to go in the light stuff in regards to inflatables if reports are true that it turns faster than the X2...
