I have seen pics of his board on kiteboarding.be, and I know that Naish has brought out a line.

Does anybody know, though, who makes Adam's boards? Would be interesting to know.

Cheers
Nico

The real one, or the production one?

The real one could be http://www.sosboards.com
Sean O. built the real Hazmat.

It could also be Harold Iggy or Naish himself, they still know how to build boards.

The production one I saw in a photo had the same made in (forgot the country) sticker as the Cabrinha Spoiler. It is not China. So maybe it's the same wakeboard factory Cabrinha uses. I'm guessing it's a wakeboard factory because the construction looks the same as one.

I was interested in the custom boards, since the production ones don't look so nice...

Adam's boards are made by Mauricio the Naish employed shaper in Maui. Production is done at Cobra in Thailand.

You can always call the Naish family store in Hawaii and order what you want. You can even talk to his mom.

I heard that all of Naish team riders will be on production boards this year. The TT featured on kiteboarding.be is one of Adams first TT's

Personally I like that idea of seeing the team riders of production gear. This states confidence in their own products.

I personally don't think that Adam will use the heavier production version...

Last year Adam Koch boards were shaped by John Doyle. Yep thats the one who is now shaping boards for Slingshot.

In the Kite video Fluid you can see that Adam used John Doyle boards.

What a joke. The naish team riders will be r&d'ing new boards for the next lot of production boards next year. Some of them may ride production some of the time. But they will also spend plenty of time working on the new designs! and there top riders definatly wont be on heavier production boards in the comps.

The x10 kind of signifies that naish is hell bent on being dominant in competitions, they wouldn't make a kite like that and then say sorry sonny you have to use a board thats another 2 kilo's heavier and doesn't hold an edge as well!
