I. PASA Council Reception
Friday, at 6:30 pm, September 20, 2002
All Surf Expo attendees are encouraged to meet the PASA Kiteboarding Council and instructors to discuss kiteboarding training/certification issues, Worldwide. Quality training is forming a key challenge in facilitating the expansion of the sport and business of kiteboarding. Join with kiteboarding industry representatives from around the World to share views and ideas over cocktails at this reception. The results of the recent kiteboarding training questionnaire will be posted online in advance of the Surf Expo and should help to kick off discussions.
II. PASA Kiteboarding Retailer Panel Discussion
Saturday, at 4:00 pm, September 21, 2002
Join leading PASA kiteboarding instructors Paul Menta, Ryan Levinson, Chris Moore and others in this informative presentation followed by a question and answer session. This presentation has been prepared to help better acquaint retailers with the sport of kiteboarding, equipment and related issues. This presentation is intended to help facilitate on-target sales resulting in better customer servicing creating return business and word of mouth referrals from satisfied customers.
III. PASA Insurance Seminar
Sunday, at 8:00 am, September 22, 2002
Confused by insurance but realize you need it? If you are instructing kiteboarding, don't ignore this critical area. So take care of your business and learn about the insurance programs that are available. Come to this seminar and meet Dana Falardeau of First Flight Insurance Group, Inc., a primary broker for kiteboarding insurance. Dana will make a presentation followed by an question and answer session.
All events listed will be held in the Orange Country Convention Center, the site of the Surf Expo and are open to Surf Expo attendees. The exact room location of the events will be posted at the PASA booth and will be announced by PA during the Expo.
