Saw the new Fuel in action last night, wind was 12 - 18 knots and (experienced) rider on a Jarvis couldn't stay much upwind, as was almost everyone else, 2002 Fuels above all. Kite shape looked much like old model, maybe slightly thinner/higher AR. Carbon black panels and orange bladder and struts.
Rider said it was a great kite a lot better than the old model and he just had to get used to it.
If poss, try before you buy.
Anyone else tried the new Fuels?

German kiters who tried the 17 posted in a forum that they were impressed by the depower efficiency which made it possible to fly the kite up to 6 bft.

I also tried the Fuel 15 2003-serie. That day I was kiting with my F14 2002 and after an hour I could try the new 2003 Fuel 15 of a friend of mine.

The main difference is the steering of the kite. The Fuel 15 steers a lot softer and easier than the Fuel 14 2002. The Fuel 15 is also a lot faster than the Fuel 14, the power is about the same.

My friend also said that the depowering of 2003-serie is a lot better than 2002. The day I tried the new kite I couldn't test the depower-range, but I don't believe I is a lot more.

Yeah, guys out today with the 2003 Fuel who had the 2002 one said definately about same power but much smoother and a lot more depower too, basically all the pros of last years kite but friendlier.
