I am having problems with flying my freeair 8.5 in winds 10-15mph the kite just falls out of the sky! i have to keep working the kite from the edge of the wind window to the apex the kite will not sit at the apex unless the wind is over 15mph-any suggestions to would be appreciated-Thanks.

I have this kite. 12 mph minimum to stay upwind for me on a 6'6" directional at 150 lbs. Under 12, I have this same problem, but who cares since I can't stay upwind anyway. Great kite over 15 mph.

If you haven't already, set it up 4 line and experiment with the best angle of attack. Sheeting in more means more power with this low AR kite, However too much will stall it and stalling is easier to do in light wind.

Great kite over 15 mph

I have the kite set up as 4 line-i guess i'll just have to fly in 15mph+ winds or get a bigger kite!

Thanks.
