Hello chaps and chapesses.

just got a new ARX 17.5 with a carbon bar and need to know the line lengths with the chicken loop on the bar, strap fully out and front lines connected on the last knot of the three coming from the depower strap ?

any help would be good.

Cheers.

Sorry for me bad english i have an arx 9,5 but generaly for every kites is good following: When you are hook in both loop and strap are full power the both lines front and steering should have same tension = maximum power for kite. I aply this setting on every kite and im satisfied. When im wrong please tell me somebody

Yep that seems about right...

I had an 11.5m ARX and that's exactly how I had the lines setup. Set it up so the kite isn't over sheeted when unhooked.

You'll know when it's oversheeted because the power, speed and response will all decrease.

you may lengthen the backlines a little if you like.

a setup that should generally work without problems is:
not hooked into the chickenloop, adjuster fully opened = all lines same length.
