rio das pedras theres no wind, the closest spot is rio about 1 hour driving !!!
Trancoso is much better, dont know the place very much but for sure theres more wind and a much better place than rio das pedras, its brand new club, kite during the day and endless parties at night.

nobody there it will be you and your family, belive me - its not a fancy place like club med , theres only 2 pousadas about 40 rooms in the city and 14 in pousada do gostoso, the rooms are even better than some club meds I have been, the food is very good - also == these will be a true brasilian destination.
