Go to Mactopia.com and download the Windows Media Player for the Mac.
Unzipping files is no problem with stuffit deluxe.
The DVX codecs are also available on the net. If you need them send me a pm, I could mail them to you.

Thanks for the link to the jpg file.

That's intense footage. Intense hangtime. Intense!

Some have posted that Adam appears out of control, I don't see that. He does make two brief glances upward toward the kite but otherwise is just feeling it and flying it. Countless hours in the air have given him the muscle memory to instinctively react to what he's feeling through the bar and make the necessary adjustments.

He is clearly thermalling here in a bubble of relatively warmer air that formed over land and travelled out over the water with the wind (side offshore conditions). Thermals do form over water but only when the atmosphere is significantly colder than the sea temp. Obvious by the sky conditions on this day, that was not the case. There would be waterspouts and more significant cumulous development. No reason you can't go thermalling with your kitesurfing kite, if you have the split second reaction time to recognize thats what your doing. Adam does.

Landing shmanding. When you fall out the bottom, your going down.

What do you all think about this; is this a stock Aero 2 or some tweeked prototype? I know when Adam was here in 01, he was using protos that said ARX on them but were not like my ARX's.

I have seen that this was a AeroII - a real one - wether there are modifications I do not know. But maybe Adam can answer this question personally, if you ask him ?

Does it really matter if he got wet when he landed? Weather phemon or whatever , that boost is the benchmark, with no doubt for me anyway.

Talk tech points when someone can best it!
