I find the best way to jump with a powerlock bar depends on how you normally ride and the trick you do. If you find yourself riding sheated out alot, jump that way. I would try a longer length harness line to get yourself farther from the bar. Concentrate more on board edge control and less on sheating in or out try riding locked in and you will gain more board edge control. This in the long run will drastically inprove your hight and distance for jumps, you will really start to develope that last second burst of edging to really give you that extra lift. For tricks that cause you to land wrapped or blind, jump unhooked. Wake style frowards and back rolls, lock in. The key is to be at a constant comfortable distance from your bar. Riding really tight to your bar will make you over rotate and over stear.
