Heh! I am a full time gymnastics coach. I set my new kites up a work to check them out, because it's winter here.
I do have a kite practice rig set up on bungees though. You can load them up and launch! Heres a video:

Toby-
I have the R2 20 and it is the best lite wind kite ever. I know you had a R4 20 when they first came out. What happened? Did North blow it by tinkering with an outstanding design? I read here that the new R4 20 had more top end at a loss of bottom end grunt. It seems that when you are putting up a 20 meter kite, you're not looking for top end. Any comments?

I am using loops of 3/8 milspec bungee cord. I believe the rig has 16 20' loops. The cieling in our gym is 25' high. Keep in mind that standard bungee cord stretches about 2.1x its static length. You can buy in at various online shops for about $90 a roll

Hi Toby,
I see that you have a beatiful Rhino line. I have a Rhino ll 16 (75kg). Maybe you can advise me what do you do when you start a session at a nice steady 12-13 knots and it turns into a gusty 15-16. I get into frightening runners and have to dip my ars in the water to stop running at crazy speeds and losing control. Then it strats all over again, I can't avoid the runners and enjoy a decent and controlled ride. I feel that changing to a smaller kite is not the right solution becasue all of the other guys are with 16s and having a lot of fun.
Any tip ?
Thanks
