kitesurfing near Munich or Geneva?

Postby christian12345 » Sat Feb 07, 2004 8:24 pm

Hi all!

I'm thinking on moving to Munich or Geneva. Does anyone know if it's possible to kitesurf anywhere near those places?

Regards,
Christian

Hi,
there are spots near Munich.
Well, sure it is not the worldwide center of kitesports, but there is some kiting.
Some spots are listed here(german language):

Hi!
Kiteboarding is also possible around the lake of Geneva (lac Léman), but I know that the die hard go down to south of France for real kiting experiences...

hi Christian,

apart from the spots you got with mail above, most reliable wind conditions can be found within a 3 hours drive to Lake Garda. Best option in my view ..

aloha

Jürgen
