Sydney board found, possibly Dee Why beach

a friend of mine who's a policeman just told me a board was handed in lost to the DY police station this afternoon (monday march 22nd).
apparently "yellow with black handles"
I don't know more details as it wasn't my friend who handled it.

apparently if it's not claimed and the guy who found it doesn't want it, it gets destroyed!
so if you're in that area, spread the word around, i'd hate to think a board would get destroyed!

Must be something strange going on with lost yellow boards and Dee Why -- Mate of mine also found a yellow board there a few months ago and I've talked to everyone I know to try and figure out who lost it --no claims on it. Maybe there's an underwater boardmaking plant at Dee Why and every now and again, one of em just pops out...
