Mike used his new Cabrinha 8.5 BT Nitro RECON for the first time yesterday at Coyote Pt. According to Ikitesurf, wind was at times 20-25 and 24-30. Mike weighs about 175lbs and was using a custom mutant type board by John Forsyth. When he finished his session I ask how he liked the kite? His response was "I love this kite! It is stable/solid ...not twitchy at all, light in the air, yet I knew where it was all the time. Can't wait to give it a try at Waddel."
First pic has Treasure Island and Bay Bridge in the backround, the second pic has South SF and San Francisco in the backround.

Are those winds speeds in MPH or knots?

MPH....so, when it was 20-24 it was lite for an 8.5, but he was still "powered." Appears the Cabrinha 8.5 has a great range as he was powered in 20 and the kite was still rock solid in 30
