How to set the bar for handle pass

Postby chassan » Tue Apr 06, 2004 4:54 am

what kind of setting does a 4 line bar needs to have so the kite still handles well when taking the loop out of the harness and go for the handlepass or any other trick.

So the bar rides fully powered right at the bottom of your bar when you unhoook.

So, I'm guessing the bar is going to have lots of depower when you are hook in the harness?

yea OR what you can pull is a little something i like to do.
Have the bar about powered up pretty good when youre hooked in, so if you do hook out it stalls the kite, dont ever do that though.

Then when you want to play unhooked you just pull in your depower strap all the way so you can unhook. ofcourse the problem with this is its not as great for hooking in and out really fast.
